Bandit Booloo and the Lost Seashell

On the beach, the sand was warm. The waves said, “Shh, shh.”

Bandit Booloo walked by the water. He was a superhero. He wore a soft cape. He was brave, but also a little shy. He liked helping. He did not like loud cheers.

Princess sat on a towel. She had a shiny crown and a big smile. She was kind and bossy in a funny way.

“Hello, Bandit Booloo!” said Princess.

Bandit Booloo waved. “Hi,” he whispered.

Princess looked sad. “My seashell is gone. My pink, swirly seashell.”

Bandit Booloo blinked. “We will find it,” he said. “I will use my Super Look.”

He put his hands like tiny binoculars. “Look… look… look.”

They walked. Step, step. The sand tickled their toes.

A little crab went click-click.

Princess asked, “Crab, did you see my shell?”

The crab lifted one claw and pointed: “This way!”

Bandit Booloo nodded. “Good clue.”

They followed tiny crab tracks. They were like little dots.

Then they saw a sandcastle. It was tall. It had a door made of a leaf.

Princess gasped. “Maybe my shell is inside!”

Bandit Booloo felt nervous. “I am shy,” he said. “But I am still brave.”

He knocked gently. Tap tap.

A gust of wind whooshed. The door fell over. “Oops!” said Bandit Booloo.

Princess giggled. “Superhero knock!”

Inside the sandcastle was not scary. It was cozy. There were smooth stones. There was seaweed like a green ribbon.

But no pink, swirly shell.

Princess pouted. “Oh no.”

Bandit Booloo took a slow breath. “We keep looking. Teamwork.”

They walked to the rocks. Splash! Splash!

Bandit Booloo saw something shiny under a puddle.

He crouched down. “Is that it?”

Princess leaned in. “No. That is a wet pebble.”

Bandit Booloo smiled. “Nice pebble, though.”

They walked to a beach umbrella. A seagull stood there.

Princess asked, “Seagull, did you take my shell?”

The seagull shook its head and said, “No! Mine is snacks.”

Bandit Booloo said, “Do you know where it went?”

The seagull flapped and pointed its beak to the tide line.

They ran. Pat-pat-pat.

Near the water, they saw a tiny starfish. It was stuck in a dry spot.

Bandit Booloo frowned. “Little friend needs water.”

Princess nodded. “Help first.”

Bandit Booloo scooped some water with a cup. He poured it gently. “Here you go.”

The starfish wiggled. It looked happy.

And then—behind the starfish—something pink peeked out of the sand.

Princess squealed, “My seashell!”

Bandit Booloo brushed the sand away. Soft, soft. He lifted the shell.

“Found,” he said.

Princess hugged the shell. Then she hugged Bandit Booloo.

Bandit Booloo went red in the cheeks. “I… I did it,” he said.

Princess said, “We did it!”

The starfish wiggled again, like a thank-you dance.

Princess opened her beach bag. “Superhero reward!”

She pulled out a small treasure box. Click!

Inside were two bracelets made of bright beads and tiny shells.

“One for you,” said Princess.

Bandit Booloo put it on. It sparkled in the sun.

He stood taller. “I feel… extra super,” he said.

They sat together, listening to the waves. Shh, shh.

Princess said, “Next time, we find more shells.”

Bandit Booloo nodded. “Yes. And we help every little friend too.”
