Milsey is a little boy. He lives in a big bright castle with tall towers and blue roofs. He has a special friend named Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear is soft and kind. Milsey hugs Teddy Bear each morning and feels happy.
In Milsey’s room there is a magic Book. The Book can talk in a calm gentle voice. It loves to tell stories and help Milsey when he feels sad or worried.
Outside near a sparkling fountain lives a friendly Giant. The Giant is tall and strong but gentle. He waters the flowers in the garden and laughs with Milsey when he plays.
One morning, Milsey wakes and sees Teddy Bear is gone. He looks under his pillow and behind the door. He calls, “Teddy Bear? Where are you?” He feels a little sad.
The talking Book says, “Let us help you, Milsey.” The Giant says, “I will help too.” Milsey feels glad. He holds the Book and waves to the Giant. They begin their search.
They walk through the long hallway and peek behind big chairs. They climb stairs to the high tower and search each room. They keep hope alive.
At last, they reach a quiet cave under the castle wall. A small Dragon sleeps on golden coins. Milsey feels afraid but takes a deep breath. He steps forward and says, “Excuse me.” The Dragon wakes and blinks big eyes.
The Dragon tilts its head and smells the air. It had found Teddy Bear and kept him safe. It says, “I wanted to keep him warm.”
Milsey smiles wide. He hugs Teddy Bear happily. Teddy Bear pats the Dragon’s nose. The Dragon laughs with warm puffs of air. The Book cheers, “Well done!” The Giant claps his big hands.
To celebrate, the Dragon leads them to a hidden chest in the cave. Inside they find colorful balls and shiny beads. Milsey chooses a bright rainbow ribbon and ties it around Teddy Bear’s neck. Teddy Bear looks proud and pretty.
They return to the castle hall. They play with the balls and beads on a soft carpet. The Giant waters the indoor flowers. The Book reads a happy story. Milsey laughs. He feels safe and loved.
They clap with joy. They dance with care. They sing with glee. They cheer with heart. They smile wide. They hug dear friends. They play with toys. They laugh aloud. They smile again.
