On Shadow Planet, little cowboy Theo finds a corner of the sky gone dark. With Star Collector, Alien Diplomat, and shy Moon Child, he faces Sun Knight to return a lost crystal star—then earns a warm, glowing badge as a prize.
Theo and the Missing Star on Shadow Planet

Theo was a little cowboy. He wore a soft hat and tiny boots. But he was not loud. Theo was gentle and brave.

He lived on Shadow Planet. The ground was purple-gray. The rocks made long, sleepy shapes. The sky was dark like a blanket, and small lights blinked far away.

One night, Theo looked up. “Where is the bright star?” he asked. A corner of the sky looked empty.

A person glided in with a bag that tinkled. Star Collector! They were quick and careful. They liked to count stars like buttons.

Star Collector whispered, “A star is missing. My bag feels too light.”

A tall visitor stepped forward, wearing a smooth badge. Alien Diplomat. They spoke slowly and kindly. “Friends,” said Alien Diplomat, “we must fix this. The sky needs all its lights.”

A small child with silver hair peeked from behind a rock. Moon Child. Moon Child was shy, but curious. “I saw a glow roll away,” Moon Child said.

Theo nodded. “We will find it. Yee-haw… but quiet.”

They walked across Shadow Planet. Their footsteps went tap-tap. They passed a cave that breathed cool air. They crossed a field of soft dust that puffed like flour.

Then a bright clink! Something shiny was stuck in a dark bush.

But a tall figure stood there, shining like noon. Sun Knight.

Sun Knight said, “No star for you. I guard the light.”

Theo held his hat with both hands. His voice was calm. “We are not taking. We are returning. The sky is sad without it.”

Sun Knight frowned. “Returning?”

Star Collector opened the tinkly bag. “Look,” they said. “I collect to keep safe. But this star fell out. It must go back up.”

Moon Child took a small step. “I miss its bedtime glow,” Moon Child whispered.

Alien Diplomat bowed. “Let us do this together,” they said. “No fighting. Just helping.”

Sun Knight looked at Theo’s kind eyes. The shiny armor softened, like warm sunlight on sand. “I do not want the night to be scary,” Sun Knight said.

Theo smiled. “It will not be scary. We will make it twinkle again.”

They all pulled gently. The star was a little crystal star, not too big. It hummed like a tiny bee.

Theo used his cowboy lasso. He looped it around a tall stone spire. “Up we go,” he said.

Star Collector held the star carefully. Alien Diplomat steadied the rope. Moon Child sang a small “la-la,” very soft. Sun Knight lifted the star high with strong arms.

The crystal star floated up. It slid into the empty corner of the sky, like a puzzle piece.

The sky blinked. Then it sparkled! Shadow Planet looked less lonely.

Star Collector clapped. “My bag is full again!”

Alien Diplomat said, “Peace is bright.”

Moon Child giggled. “The night is smiling.”

Sun Knight knelt by Theo. “You were brave and gentle,” Sun Knight said. “Take this.”

Sun Knight gave Theo a small sun-shaped badge. It was warm, not hot. It glowed in Theo’s pocket.

Theo touched it and felt happy. “Now I can light my way,” he said.

They walked home under the fixed star. Tap-tap, step by step. And the sky stayed complete, sparkling over Shadow Planet all night long.
