Mickey Mouse was a little Dinosaur. He lived at the Zoo.
He was big, but very gentle. He tried to be brave, even when he felt shy.
One sunny morning, Mickey Mouse the Dinosaur walked slowly.
Step. Step.
He smelled snacks.
“Hello!” called a Monkey.
Monkey was quick and funny. Monkey loved to help.
Mickey Mouse blinked. “Hi, Monkey. I feel… worried.”
Monkey tilted his head. “Why worried?”
Mickey Mouse said, “My red cap is gone. My favorite cap. I wear it when I sing.”
He looked left.
He looked right.
No cap.
Monkey clapped. “We will find it! We are a team.”
So they went on a tiny quest to find the lost item.
They walked past the zebra pen.
The zebras went, “Neigh!”
Mickey Mouse waved his small Dino hand.
They walked past tall giraffes.
Mickey Mouse stretched his neck up. “So tall!”
Monkey giggled. “You are tall too, Dino!”
Then they heard a soft rustle.
Behind a trash bin, a Bandit tip-toed.
Bandit wore a dark scarf and carried a sack.
Bandit whispered, “Shiny things, yummy things… mine.”
Mickey Mouse felt his tummy flutter.
But he took a slow breath.
In… out…
He tried to be brave.
Monkey whispered, “Let’s be smart.”
Monkey pointed to tiny banana peels on the ground.
Monkey had dropped them earlier, like little clues.
Monkey said, “Bandit, hello! Do you like music?”
Bandit froze. “Music?”
Mickey Mouse cleared his throat. “I sing. But my red cap is missing.”
Bandit looked away. “I… did not take it.”
But the sack looked very full.
Monkey hopped closer. “We can trade! A joke for a look.”
Bandit frowned. “A joke?”
Monkey made a silly face. “Banana nose!”
Monkey held a banana like a nose.
Bandit snorted a laugh. “Heh.”
The laugh made the scarf slip.
And a corner of red cloth peeked out of the sack.
Mickey Mouse pointed. “My cap!”
Bandit hugged the sack. “I wanted it. It is bright. It made me feel happy.”
His voice sounded small.
Mickey Mouse softened. “You can feel happy without taking.”
He stepped closer, gentle and calm.
Monkey nodded. “We can share happiness. Not steal.”
Bandit’s shoulders dropped. “I am sorry.”
He opened the sack and handed the red cap back.
Mickey Mouse held it tight. “Thank you.”
He placed it on his Dino head.
It fit just right.
From the sack, Bandit also pulled out something else.
A shiny gold coin… and a small toy whistle.
Bandit said, “I took these too. I will return them.”
They all walked to the Zoo keeper.
The keeper smiled. “Good job, friends.”
He gave Mickey Mouse a bright sticker medal that said STAR.
And he gave Monkey a bunch of bananas.
The keeper looked at Bandit. “You can help here. Carry water. Sweep. Be kind.”
Bandit nodded. “I will.”
That afternoon, Mickey Mouse stood by the fountain.
He sang a happy song.
Monkey danced.
Even Bandit tapped his foot.
Mickey Mouse touched his sticker medal.
He felt warm inside.
His cap was back.
His friends were near.
And the Zoo felt safe and bright again.
