Superhero Alice Marie and the Lost Star Ball

Superhero Alice Marie wakes up in the Spirit Garden. She stretches her small arms and smiles at tall trees. The green grass feels soft and cool under her feet. She hears birds singing happy songs in the sky. She wears a shiny red cape that flutters in the breeze. She loves to help friends and share a kind hug. Santa appears by a giant oak tree with twinkling lights. He laughs a jolly laugh and waves his snowy white beard. He holds a little wooden box tied with a red ribbon. Alice Marie says, Hello Santa, your box looks special. Santa says, Hello brave friend, this box is very dear. A sneaky Witch hides behind a round mossy rock. She watches them quietly and plans a small trick. Her long black cloak drapes over her shoulders. She holds a magic wand and frowns at the joy. Then Santa stumbles and drops the precious little box. The ribbon unties softly and the lid springs open. A bright yellow star ball bounces out with a glow. Santa frowns in worry and says, My star ball is lost! Alice Marie nods with care and says, I will help you. She takes Santa’s hand and they walk down a soft path. They look under green bushes and behind mossy logs. They look by the little pond and near bright tulips. The Witch follows close behind, hiding in the leaves. She laughs a quiet laugh and plans to slip the ball. Alice Marie hears a soft rustle in the green grass. She says, Who is there? and stands up tall and brave. The Witch jumps out from behind a low stone wall. She says, Give me the box now, or I will cast a spell! Alice Marie steps forward, her cape flutters strong. She says, No way, dear Witch, this box is for sharing. Santa stands beside them and holds Alice’s small hand. He says, We can all be friends if we share with care. Witch looks at them and her frown slowly turns soft. She feels a warm glow in her lonely old heart. She says, I am sad and lonely, I just want a friend. Alice Marie smiles bright and she gives her red cape. Santa offers a warm cookie with sweet sugar dust. The Witch takes both gifts and a tear falls. She hands back the glowing yellow star ball at once. Santa laughs a loud laugh and claps his white gloves. Alice Marie jumps with joy and she dances around. The star ball glows bright and the garden lights up. They all sit together on soft grass by the oak tree. They share the wooden box and eat a sweet cookie. They sing a small song about kindness and sharing. The sun sets slowly behind tall quiet trees. Stars appear overhead and the moon peeks softly. Alice Marie yawns and feels proud of her help. They all hug good night and dream of new kind quests. The Witch smiles shy and her eyes shine like a star. Santa gifts the Witch a bright golden bell that rings. Alice Marie wears a small silver medal for her brave heart. They all wave at moon and whisper, Good night dear friends. Spirit Garden glows until morning sun arrives.
