Once upon a time Turtle the Inventor lived on a bright island. Turtle was kind and curious. He made small toys and tools by the sea. One sunny morning Turtle reached for his golden wrench. He needed it to build a gentle windmill. But oh no the wrench was gone! Turtle felt worried. How could he build his windmill now? Just then Frost Mage appeared. Frost Mage was friendly and playful. She wore a blue cloak full of sparkles. Frost Mage saw Turtle’s frown and asked “What is wrong, dear friend?” Turtle sighed, “My golden wrench is lost.” Frost Mage smiled and said, “Let’s find it together!” They walked on soft sand. They looked under green ferns and bright shells. They called out “Golden wrench, where are you?” But no wrench spoke. Suddenly a shadow darted behind a rock. It was Smuggler the sly fox. He held the wrench high. “Ha ha!” laughed Smuggler. “I found it first!” Turtle felt his heart beat fast. Frost Mage held Turtle’s hand. “We can be brave,” she said. They stepped forward. Turtle said, “Please give back my wrench.” Smuggler ran away, clutching the shiny tool. Turtle and Frost Mage chased him around coconut trees. Smuggler leapt over driftwood. Frost Mage whispered a soft frost spell. A gentle ice ribbon flew and wrapped around Smuggler’s tail. He stopped with a surprised yelp. Turtle hurried and took the wrench. Smuggler dropped it and scampered off into the bushes. Turtle hugged the wrench close. “Thank you, Frost Mage!” he cheered. Frost Mage twirled and giggled. They hurried back to the little lab by the shore. Turtle fixed his windmill with the golden wrench. The windmill blades spun fast and bright. It made soft music and gentle lights. The island glowed with rainbow colors. Turtle gave Frost Mage a special wooden toy bird. It bobbed and hopped when she squeezed it. Frost Mage laughed with joy. The two friends danced on the sand as waves sang a happy tune. The sky turned pink with sunset. Turtle and Frost Mage sat together and watched the stars appear. Turtle felt proud and happy. He learned that asking for help is brave. Frost Mage learned that magic and friendship go hand in hand. And on that warm island night they whispered, “We did it! We are a team!” The end.
